Easter is only a week away, and honestly I can’t quite believe it! It feels like only yesterday we were dealing with feet of snow and ice; struggling to get our cars out of the embankments and cranking the heat up as high as we could without giving ourselves an outrageous power bill.
I love dressing up for Easter Mass; but that really shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, given that I love dressing on the “nicer” end of “nice” most days anyways. A pair of slingback pumps and me are besties, to be sure! But dressing up at Easter time— even for a normal weekend brunch in the spring— can feel a little daunting. If you’re not one for bold colors, it can feel like a Pacific-sized sea of patterns, florals, and bright colors.
This week I wanted to put together and edit of some colorful and feminine pieces that stayed right around the $100 mark, so that if you’re looking to add some color to your wardrobe, you’d feel empowered to do so without feeling like you’re taking a big risk on a purchase. Some of these pieces are more subtle, others are more bold. There’s a healthy mix of accessories too! Lots to be inspired by…
So, let’s get into it! Happy Friday Finds!

1. Cream and Grey Top-Handle Bag
If you’re looking for a bag that can be worn through multiple seasons, but it’ll look extra sophisticated showing up to Easter brunch, this is a great option. It’s the most neutral item I’ve got on the docket today, but I think it works perfectly paired with the softer tones of other items in the list— like the lace midi dress or blue floral top!
Unfortunately, the shoulder strap is not included with this bag…
2. Floral Flutter Sleeve Dress
I know someone might say this is an “out of date” style if you were trying to be a trendsetter on TikTok or Instagram. I’d argue it’s a classic cut, and people will universally think you look so chic if you’re wearing this dress. We can get too caught-up with what’s trending that we often forget how good the classics look!
I’d personally pair this with these heels; talk about the ultimate spring outfit! You’ll never go wrong with a good slingback.
I’m personally saving up for a necklace from The A-List by Aziza Lyons, but if you’re looking for a lower-priced entry piece, this is a great option to start with! Something about turquoise always draws me in, and in the spring and summertime, it feels elegant but also a little relaxed!
I think it would be extra fun paired with the flutter-sleeve dress above!
This dress is a little (and I mean a little) bit more casual, given it’s rope-belt detail, but I think that you could easily make this Easter-ready with a pair of leather heeled sandals and a nice earring!
Y’all know I’m forever-loyal to a drop-pearl gold hoop earring. But a double-pearl drop earring is equally beautiful— a little more fun! Here’s a pair I think are stunning!
The boldest of my picks, this Cara Cara dress is the spring season all wrapped into one dress! With wide straps, it’ll be church appropriate for most services (bring a pashmina just in case!!!) and serve you well in warmer weather! This would be a great dress to kick off the warmer weather and take you all the way through aperol season this summer.
If you love color-on-color, pair it with the colorblock mules coming up…!
If you’re not a dress girl, there are two blouses in today’s line-up that I think are perfect for the Easter/spring season.
Catholics who are sponsors for anyone coming into the Church at the Easter Vigil may appreciate this blouse especially because those members are often encouraged to wear red to symbolize the Holy Spirit. Try it with these red crop pants and a pair of nude pointed toe pumps, or these darker maroon wide-leg pants with a cap-toe slingback.
7. Rope and Bead Cocktail Ring
I thought this ring was so interesting! It’s got this unique curving, waving design, interlaid with a rope accent and all these colorful little gems! It kind of feels like a bird’s nest with the little colorful eggs inside— a perfect homage to Easter!
Y’all probably know pretty well by now that I love a little lady bag. Something teetering on the edge of too-small-to-carry-anything. They’re almost impractical, but that’s why I love them! They force intentionality— what do you HAVE to have with you? And I think they make us a little more mindful of how we carry ourselves; I think they make us stand a little taller… or maybe it’s just me.
I love the swirling pattern of this bag! It reminds me of tulips; the gentle curve of their petals, the bold colors. I think it would pair perfectly with the mangesite necklace listed earlier— the pink and turquoise are an amazing pair!
Again, if you’re looking for a blouse over a dress, try one of the classic Reformation cuts! Perfect for anyone attending a more casual service or staying home for brunch, you could pair this top with a pair of white jeans (I’d personally pick a straight leg ankle cut) and either a pair of mules like these floral ones from Gucci (yes, over $200, sue me!) or a casual white slide like these from Tory Burch.
You could also pair this top with a skirt if you feel so inclined, but I love how easy it is to make a casual outfit with jeans feel elevated!
10. Colorblock Kitten Heel Mules
The pair of shoes that started this entire board… I love these Manolos so much, and wish they were my size (or that I felt confident or comfortable in mules…) but alas! These could pair with so many different pieces, and if you’re someone who loves a fun shoe, these are a statement-maker!
To be transparent: these are in need of repair, especially at the heel. I think you could get away with wearing them for the holiday; however, I’d be taking these to a cobbler ASAP. The price makes the work worth it if you’ve been looking for this colorway.
I hope this post has inspired you to find your Easter or Sunday brunch outfit secondhand!
If you’re particularly interested in any of these items, I’d love to know how you’d style it in the comments below.
xx happy hunting!
